6 Days Uganda Gorilla & Wildlife

Day 1.Queen Elizabeth National park

Meet and greet with our professional driver/guide who will brief you about the tour, proceed to the park via mbarara, stop en route at Igongo cultural centre for some photography and craft shoping. Arrive at the park in time for lunch at the respective lodge. After relaxing, enjoy an evening boat cruise at the kazinga channel viewing hippos, elephants and a wide range of amazing birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. FULL BOARD.

Day 2.Chimpazee Tracking

Spend the morning tracking chimps in Kyambura Gorge; explore this ‘underground forest’ with its magnificent birds. In the afternoon take nature walk in Maramagambo forest while viewing a variety of birds, monkeys, and the stunning tree species with in the forest. Return to the lodge for a wonderful massage, dinner and overnight. FULL BOARD.

Day 3. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park; arrive at the respective lodge for check in and relaxation until lunch time, in the afternoon go for a village walk to interact with the batwa community with their activity of basket weaving, millet grinding with a cultural performance in the evening. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. FULL BOARD.

Day 4.Gorilla Tracking

After breakfast, meet the ranger guide at the park headquarters to be briefed about gorilla tracking before you proceed to Bwindi forest. Gorillla tracking can take a couple of hours or even the whole day depending on where these primates may be.  You will spend an hour with the gorillas as you listen to them grumbling with each other.  After return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. FULL BOARD.

Day 5. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

When breakfast is done, if staying in Buhoma, take hike through the forest to Munyanga Waterfall. For those staying south of the park, take the 3-4 hour walk from Nkuringo all the way across the impenetrable forest listening to the sweet sounds of the birds and viewing monkeys plus other animals. After the long day, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 6. Departure

After the delicious breakfast, get on board and set off for Kampala having en route at the equator for photography and craft shopping. Arrive Kampala in the evening; you will be drooped at the hotel or airport for departure.
